We have exciting news: The pre-application ballot for the 2025-2026 program year is now opened!
For passport holders from high-demand countries like China, India, and Vietnam, the Australian Department of Home Affairs uses a ballot system to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. This means your chance to experience Australia as a working holidaymaker is just a registration away.
What is the Work and Holiday (subclass 462) Visa?
The subclass 462 visa allows eligible young adults to have an extended holiday in Australia while having the option to work to help fund their travels. It's not just a holiday; it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in Australian culture, gain international work experience, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
With this visa, you can:
Stay in Australia for up to 12 months.
Can do short term work in Australia to help pay of your holiday.
Study for up to 4 months.
Travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while your visa is valid.
Potentially apply for a second or even third Work and Holiday visa if you meet specific requirements, including undertaking specified work in regional areas.
